Students Become Farmers

FNN News Brief and Photo by Cornell Beasley.

September 9, 2021.  Students came out to check the vegetables for harvesting and were able to experience harvesting vegetables with sheers. There were different types of vegetables and fruit for everyone. Cutting vegetables is hard to do because you need to know about where you cut the stems. Also, you need to know what vegetables are edible and non-edible so you don’t get sick.  Ms. Merritt states that tomatoes and peppers were popular among the students. She was glad that the students could go outside to experience urban gardens.
