The Gentle Giant
Story by Victoria Ekanem, 5th grade FNN reporter, Friendship Blow Pierce Elementary. Photo from Google.
As the windows open and the sun shines on my face, I can see nature’s gentle giant also called the Giraffe. From the looks of it this animal is very sweet. But if you are trying to harm this animal it can give any animal a very powerful kick to the body. I definitely do not think I would want to be kicked by this animal.
Anyway, back to my breakfast. As I pick up my hot chocolate I can feed a gentle giant and get to know it a little better. From the looks of it the tongue is very very long, rough and kind of slimy. It’s breath smells like leaves!
As I take my last bite and drink my last sip, I say goodbye to my giraffe friends. I will see you next time. Maybe I will stay a little longer.
