On Tuesday April 10th 2018, I took part in a major gathering to bring attention to a serious issue that is plaguing many communities. A group of students, including myself, were invited to the Friendship Armstrong campus to participate in an interview session and panel discussion with none-other-than Congressman John Lewis.

Read MoreOn Saturday, November 18th, the Tech Prep Marching Titans Band took a trip to Georgetown University to support the Georgetown Football Team at Cooper Field. We performed in the stands throughout the game to support the football team. We also played for the halftime show on center field to provide some entertainment to all of the Hoyas fans.
Read MoreOn Wednesday, November 15th, 2017, FNN reporters from Tech Prep and Collegiate joined pre-k-1st-grade students from Blow Pierce to celebrate the arrival of the FNN Online Book Club. Students celebrated the fun of reading with us by having what we like to call a “Book Party”. Scholars participated in fun and exciting activities that had to do with their favorite books and stories.

Read MoreFrom April 17 - April 19, 2017, three reporters from Tech Prep and two reporters from Collegiate had the chance to take a trip to New Haven, CT over spring break. We were able to tour Yale University’s famous Beinecke Library to view the Harlem Renaissance exhibit. We toured the entire Yale campus along with the engineering school. We stayed at the Friendship News Network director Ms. Kaufman’s house in Hamden, CT which is about 20 minutes from New Haven.
